“The themes in AGNUS are brought to life through the adjacent community engagement program. This is more than simply ‘raising awareness."‘ By bringing in organizers and activists to the theater to be in direct conversation with the play, the program increases the possibility of drawing out real action and real change.”

- Elz Cuya, Deputy Director, North Star Fund

Continuing with the method applied during our New York premiere, we are excited to be hosting in conjunction with the play as it takes stage anew. We are also excited to be hosting a number of panels, discussions, and workshops with some of the most popular and leading voices in politics, media, and technology.

Engaging students and communities in every city, along with political figures, justice advocates, and tech business leaders — the Agnus residency will serve as a provocative and safe space forum for the exchange of ideas and solutions as we approach an unprecedented leap in technology and environmental changes.

As a production, Agnus prioritizes engaging young and marginalized audiences historically excluded from theater arts for special showings and workshops throughout the residency and run of the play. These special engagements serve as enrichment programming in collaboration with schools and departments with the aim of contributing to accessibility and further developing interest in theater and performance arts, as well as cultivating collective discourse related to current events, technology, and young people's vision for the future of the world they're inheriting.
